During the Waves Vienna Music Hackday 2016, Kira Zatsepina, Saranya Balasubramanian and I developed a Music Recommendation Chatbot. We used the API’s from Deezer and Musimap. The Music Bot won in the category “Best Hack on Music and Emotion”.

We updated the Bot in 2017 using Python ‘nltk’ for natural language processing, bypassing the Musimap API and giving a song preview-player inside Facebook Messenger.

We have a demo-version online with the debugging frontend (showing a dialogue graph) directly on the heroku server.
