Over the last years I made a couple of teaching/learning “Getting started..” material for the Csound software. For me, Csound is one of the most flexible computer music instruments available, because it is extremely versatile but at the same time very structured. Furthermore Csound runs on almost any system (OSX, Linux, Windows, Android ..) and even on embedded devices like the RaspberryPi or BeagleBone.

  • The latest project (2018) involved porting Csound to the Bela board, together with Bernt Wærstad and Victor Lazzarini. Here we also provide some examples on how to use Csound on Bela.

  • Bernt I. Waerstad and I wrote a detailed introduction on ‘How to use Csound on Bela’.

2013: Csound on RaspberryPi

2011: Csound Floss Manual

  • An other project to mention here is the Csound Floss Manual, where I contributed some chapters in 2011.
