“How can I be tender” by Luong Hue Trinh
Here you can find repertoire and building instructions for live performing with the Grain Bau. The Grain Bau is an interface developed during the artistic research phase with the Vietnamese composer Luong Hue Trinh.
Recording of live-performance
This recording was made at the concert on Friday 13.10.2023 at the Future Art Lab, Klangtheater at mdw. Luong Hue Trinh’s composition ‘How can I be tender’, which was written during the artistic research phase of this project, was performed by Tim-Tarek Grund. He performed on the Grain Bau, a new electronic interface developed in this research project that combines performance gestures related to the traditional Dan Bau with a granular synthesizer in Pure Data.
